(Dis)Orient

On the crossroads between Europe and Asia, i.e. the West and the East (Orient), it is as if Bulgaria stands with feet on the opposite edges of the abyss. There will come a time when both feet will have to be on one side, better the western one.
The Orient is colourful, flavoury, emotional, expressive, and friendly. Life goes slower, people are calmer and worry less. To summarize they are happier.
On the other hand life in the Orient is less organized. People are lazier, speak loudly, smoke everywhere and eat roasted seeds in the street. Despite this the hygiene in the food facilities is questionable.
The West is also colourful, flavoury and friendly but stylishly. One may find people in the West not emotional or expressive, but this is not true. The simple answer is they have the manner of doing things. In addition, people in the West are more organized, culture is everywhere and hygiene is a virtue.
In conclusion, teetering over the abyss will come to an end. And it better be the western one.
